Cannot set Quest game access from private to public

I uploaded a Quest game yesterday, in private mode first so I could test it out. Now I would like to publish it for real, but editing the listing and setting it visible to "everybody" does nothing.
The form does go through, says changes were saved, but when I check the page, it still says it's hidden. I've tried 3+ times with the same result.

The game

I could always upload it again and set it as public from the start, but it looks like a bug to me.

Don't bother...
New games have a delay before they are made public...

OK, reading through the forums and help some more I've figured out a few things:

  • Games are only made public through moderation
  • Games submitted as unlisted need a new upload before being made public(?)

I'm less sure about the second one. The UI seems to imply you can make a game public at any time... but maybe the extra publishing form is not kicking off?

Either way, I'm converting my submission to a beta for now and will go back to this issue after some feedback. Probably should have started there anyway.

Thanks for the hint, DarkLizerd!

Games submitted as unlisted need a new upload before being made public(?)

That is not true (or should not be).

Also, if this is a beta release, you should keep it unlisted. You can send your testers the URL. Only publish it once it is ready for release.
