Editing downloaded files

Hey, just wanted to see if it was possible to edit text adventures you've downloaded?
I can open the .aslx in the editor, but the actual editing part seems to be disabled. If that's how it's supposed to be, so be it, but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything obvious here.

Nope... you are not missing anything.
When a game is published, Quest adds all the support functions, (the ones that you DON'T write)
and adds it to the file.
For some reason, when all the support files are added to the program, it disables the User Interface.
The only way to see the code is with code view.
It is the little icon that looks like it has bottom tabs, next to the blue question mark.
I wish there was some way that the UI could be re-enabled so that it would work again...

I see... That's a shame. Thanks for the response!

I think it's best like that to stop people downloading your game, tweaking it, then re-uploading. Although if there's a game you would want to work on or change, you could always contact the original uploader and see if they would be happy to hand you and editable version.
