Hi, I'm completly new to quest and am currently using the online version. I'm trying to figure out how a room or an object the player moves to will be describes as "Player is on a bed" instead of "player is in a bed" it's a pretty noob question i'd imagine, but i'd appreciate the help.

If the bed is a "room", you can change the default descriptions on the room's set-up tab.
If you uncheck the box, you can have the prefix anything you want... even under the bed.

Aaah, thank you very much. I had it set up as a object. Thanks.

You could use it as an object, just uncheck the default description, and change it to what you want...
Altho, I'm not sure if you can get "in" or "on" an object.
