Phone App Using Quest

02 Dec 2020, 08:36I am interested in developing a phone app using quest, but I do not know if that is possible. Can someone please provide me with some instructions on how to do this process through some links that contain tutorials and etcetera? If it is not possible please tell me, but I want to turn my game into an app if it is possible. The quest program is perfect for the development of the app I am considering.

02 Dec 2020, 20:26I know it is possible to create your own player (which runs your .quest file) and I know nothing about it. Other people here may know how to create your own Quest player.
However, I made a .APK which runs the game in a custom browser on Android. (That means an internet connection is needed to play the app.)
An app in the Google Play Store called Sketchware, lets you create your own .APK file, modular for non-programers. Scripts and functions can be dragged, dropped, edited, and created.
Wasn't updated for a while but I used it to create a simple browser app that directly opens my published (private) game and I haven't added any of the browser functions (address bar, back button, etc.)
The result is an .APK file that can be shared with others. The game must be published/uploaded. Private or public doesn't matter.
I was able to send the .APK file to my friends and they were able to install and play my game without problems. Though, it cannot be played online because it needs Quest's player.
