Hi

I am not aware of any issues with Chinese, but as far as I know, you are the first to try. I am not sure how easy it would be to use Quest in Chinese. It has been translated into both Greek and Russian, so can handle other alphabets, but how that would work with Chinese glyphs I do not know.

Quest uses .NET 4.0 and it might be worth checking that is installed properly. This page might help with that.

If you could paste any error messages into a post that might help us work out what the issue is.

in start the quest, there will be a report:
CLR error:80004005

From what I can tell, that i an error in .NET:
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_programs/clr-error-80004005-the-program-will-now-terminate/506fbbe0-da37-40c8-926f-182feeb97944

According to this page, it is about the order in which diferent versions of .NET were installed:
https://www.techwalla.com/articles/how-to-fix-a-clr-error-in-a-computer

That second link does have a five step process to solve it.

With a new problem, quest will have a report in the start of the game: (80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)), how to solve?

That errors seems to be because a component Quest relies on has not been registered.
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3003719/hresult-0x80040154-regdb-e-classnotreg

I have found web pages that talk about 64-bit vs 32-bit. Quest is 32-bit, but runs happily on 64-bit. I am not aware of any 64-bit computer that will not run 32-bit software.

This web page suggests turning off User Access Control; not sure why that would work, but might be worth a go.

I think in summary either .Net 4.0 or Quest is not installed properly - probably .NET 4.0.

This may help:
Open Command Prompt (Admin)
Type in: regsvr32.exe
re-install Quest

I hope this helps.
