just to preface I am really new to quest

I downloaded combat lib and anytime I add a anything that can be equipped and try to equip it in game I get this error

Error running script: Error compiling expression 'game.pov.equipped': RootExpressionElement: Cannot convert type 'Object' to expression result of 'Element'

I didn't change anything from the default settings what do I do?
