Multiple commands in same sentence?

I was looking at some classic TA earlier and found a pdf of the instructions form one I remember well called Rick Hanson.

In the instructions it explains how multiple commands can be entered in the same line, so for instance if you know the route to a destination you can speed things up by saying, n e n (north, then east, then north).

Out of interest I checked one of my games to see if this just happened to be a default of Quest, but it appears not.

I don't suppose there's any scripts that would allow for this, is there? Or would it better submitted as a request for future updates?

You can activate "Allow input of multiple commands in one line separeted by ." in the features tab of game so you could do n. e. n
But if I remember right multiple commands will be removed in Quest 6. They cause problems with turn scripts.

Ah, thanks. I'd never noticed that. Do they allow for any commands or just directions? Could I say, for instance, n. e. take note. read note ?
