12 Nov 2016, 07:55I can't find this topic in the forums. I am curious to know how I can upload a quest game onto my own website, not textadvantures.co.uk Is that possible?

13 Nov 2016, 16:12I may be wrong here... it has been known to happen... but, regardless of where you 'upload' anything, the player will need to either have an internet connection and be redirected to your game that is on the Quest website, or have downloaded the Quest program to play on their desktop.
Just copy-paste the link to your game and link it from your website to here. Won't this work?

Ideally I'd love to set up a simple blog where my games are listed and can be launched directly from there. They play in the browser (if the user chooses to play online, that is) so I don't see why it can't be done - although I haven't the vaguest how to go about it.

14 Nov 2016, 05:30From the unofficial Quest Wiki:
Host your Quest game on your own web server (this is not trivial, is not well-supported and may require spending money, so not to be undertaken lightly)
On the other hand, hosting just the .quest file for people to download and play offline is possible on any website hosting service that allows for arbitrary uploads.
