24 Oct 2020, 10:31Hi,
new here, tried to find solution but not necessarely know exact keywords.
Anyway, i want to create template for object, lets say "book shelf". It has its parameters by default, but in some room i want modify it a bit. So can i somehow create a object template, use it as default in some rooms without adding it as new object for each of them?
As its clear, mostly there is hundreds of dungeon style fight scripts available, just cant find one :-/
So is there a coding snippet or library i could study to make some fights on my planned game?
Thanks, Ek

I think what you mean is a 'type'. Unfortunately I can't give more detailed advice, as I don't use the desktop version of Quest, and the web editor doesn't allow you to create custom types.

A lot of people seem to follow the zombie game tutorial which is linked to from the documentation. I think there are others out there; but which one you need to use will depend on exactly what you want to do.

I have created some objects, but seems like i cant take em on use, atleast in any easy way via desktop editor.
