Can anyone tell me what 'random text ' as an option. On descripions on game book. I tried it out of curiosity. The short piece I put in just came out as normal? It didn't seem to do anything.

If I understand you correctly...
Random selects one of several choices in a list...
IE:
You enter the room and see {random: a cat: a dog: a mouse: nothing at all}.

This will show one of the following...
You enter the room and see a cat.
You enter the room and see a mouse.
You enter the room and see nothing at all.
