Won't it be kewl if the player could use a command (eq. analyze) and instead of a video or image, a 3D object (in a viewer) would pop up? The player could turn, spin and manipulate the 3D object.
The 3D object could be just an object...maybe a magic lantern with a inscription.
Or the 3D object could be a representation of the room the player is in, or the portion of the map he has already explored.

It would obviously be up to the author to create the 3D object(scene) and place it in the resource list.

It's just a wish.

Is there a common 3D format which Chrome is capable of displaying? If so, there's nothing to stop you including one in a Quest game.

If there's another website that provides an embeddable 3D object viewer, then using that would be as simple as including a youtube video.
