28 May 2005, 11:13I made a post about this a while ago but since trying to learn VB, i know the way i suggested wouldn't happen, so i thought would you be able to do something like this?

I know thats really bad but i did it in paint in 2 seconds so don't laugh.

29 May 2005, 07:37i think it would look better at the top or a small-ish one before the room name. i'd add a pic but i don't know how......

29 May 2005, 17:50Due to the limits of VB, that can't be done.
Its like trying to paste a picture into notepad.

30 May 2005, 17:18It isn't like trying to paste a picture into notepad..
Actually it IS quite easy to do - all Alex has to do is save what's in Window's clipboard, copy the picture, paste it into the rich text box, and then put the original stuff back into the clipboard - I did it that way once or twice, much easier than turning the picture into a bit-pattern and loading it into the richtext box that way (which is the only other way AFAIK).
- But he's moving to HTML IIRC and that might be much easier - allowing for moving text, more text effects and even pictures in frames - allowing a good deal of control over presentation.

30 May 2005, 22:15by the way tron: what's your cat called?
paul_one
31 May 2005, 09:22One's Daisy and the other Willow... Daisy's gonna die in the next couple of years - I keep saying that but she seems to keep going on and on like an energizer battery... Kind of spooky.
She must be about 10 or 11 by now, maybe more.

02 Jun 2005, 16:44sweet idea...
It would also be good to have the choice to either have a picture appear within the Quest window or outside of it.
