As inspired by francisstokes's post, I've finished a tutorial that introduced new users to all of QDK's functionalities. It is written in fairly easy to read language, and has plenty of screenshots, examples and helpful hints. The tutorial is broken down into several sections to so more advanced users can skip straight to the more complex features.

The tutorial is available for download at my website: http://members.westnet.com.au/web/chrisames/

Please tell me what you think!

What about those people who don't have Powerpoint?

Don't worry, I'm going to be redoing the tutorial in a few other formats as well (word document, raw text file and web pages all come to mind). It might take me a few days though.

Okay, the tutorial is now available in raw text (.txt) format! It’s a bit harder to follow without the screenshots and looks a lot less pretty... but oh well.

I started making my tuturial in quest just for the fact i can show somrthing happening without screnshots and explain whats going on at the same time...eg....decreasing a numeric varaible....or showing a string. That kind of thing.I also picked quest because when you get your newly downloaded software, you DON'T want to sit aroundreading a txt file or even reading the quest help.I was thinking aswell, that if the tuturial gos well,i could turn it into a mini game aswell....ideas?

Great tutorial. By the way you can download a free Powerpoint viewer by Microsoft. You don't need Powerpoint to view a PP file with the viewer.

Do a web search for Powerpoint Viewer 2003
