Huh?

31 Dec 2004, 01:22I came across some kind of problem and I'm not sure if it's a bug or what. If I open up an asl file, (as in the game I'm currently making) by right clicking on it, and click "open with....QDK", then it opens with QDK. Now, let's say I have Room1, and going west leads to Room2. If I click on Room1 properties and look at the compass, It doesn't say that west leads to Room2. However, when I play it, It does lead to Room2. Now, if I open up QDK, then click open file, and open it up, it does show the compass directions. Any clue what that might be?

02 Jan 2005, 07:45It's not only that ASL file...I tried making a couple of "fake short games," and that happens to all of them. Is it possible that something is wrong with the QDK on my computer? I even tried installing and uninstalling it, but to no avail. Because it never happened before! If you still want me to e-mail the file, tell me, and I will. I'm just not sure if you want it, because it's happening to all my ASL files.
P.S. When I opened up the file in a text program and looked at the code, it said the right thing; It's only weird when I right-click the actual file and choose "open with QDK."
