Adding a .gif with PPT?

09 Jan 2016, 22:46After seeing OurJud's Title Screen, it gave me the 'bug' to toy around with my own intro.
I tried to make a .gif using powerpoint.
1. I made two slides with some simple movement on it.
2. I clicked save as... and saved the slides as a .gif. You only get the option of saving the slides separately so I did that.
3. I tried to insert the PPT created .gif by 'add a picture' and it only showed the picture but no animation.
I can toy around with saving just one .gif PPT slide to use, but is there some fundamental reason why the animation won't play if the .gif was saved using powerpoint. Regular .gif files that I save from the internet work just fine.
Does anyone have any experience or solution with this? Thanks!

09 Jan 2016, 22:58If you view the .gif outside Quest (e.g. in a web browser), does it animate? If not, then it sounds like PowerPoint isn't saving it as an animated gif.
