Disabling all default responses

02 Dec 2015, 01:00I would like to disable default responses to commands that both return a negative and are not understood.
I've done some digging and found a UnrecognisedCommand template in my advanced tree, to which I've simply assigned a 'Huh?' response.
This obviously covers commands that are simply not understood by the game, but how do I control the responses to commands that are understood, but that cannot be carried out.
For instance: "Eat fridge" would get the response, "You can't eat that." But I would like to disable these responses altogether.
As mentioned elsewhere I'm trying to do something a little different this time, and want players to understand that a command that is either not understood, or cannot be carried out, will simply fail to get any response at all.
Of course with the above example, I would have to override this rule, for instances where the player has items they can eat.
As a compromise, I would be happy to settle for the ability to change the wording of default responses, so that "You can't eat that." would become, "Cannot be eaten."

Just copy this into your game folder. Quest should pick it up instead of the default one. If anyone sees a problem, let me know.
Note: I did not change SelfGender, SelfAlias or SelfArticle, as I don't know in what context they're used. They can easily be changed if that was an incorrect omission.
Edit: I have updated the file with changes for the above as well.
I downloaded this into my game folder, and the opened my game in desktop Quest. I can find the template in the Advanced tree, but how do I access it in order to change the default responses???

I've managed to figure out how to access all the possessive pronouns and change them in the template. Not sure how I stumbled on it, but I did.
There's a few I'm still struggling to find, but the search tool with the 'Show library elements' ticked is proving to be very useful.
