there are other games of that type in the games archive, and no one's complained

I e-mailed the original poster just incase - but I'd be genuinely interested in this sort of game :D .

Interactive erotica is better than just watching, and reading is highly erotic - gives the power to the readers imagination. Go ahead - anyone who objects should be told that they don't have to play the game and that the description was fair warning.

ebayfan414 wrote:Hi....I had a question for everyone. I recently downloaded the trial version and began to create a game. However, I have paused it's creation because I think it might be a bit controversial, and I don't want to waste my time for nothing. The game is about an angel that gets horny and wants to experience sex, so he is sent to earth. You are the angel, (Which, by the way, you can choose to be a straight or gay male, or straight or gay female) and your mission is to have sex with four people. As you can see, it's an adult game. So I want to know people's response to this idea; If I finish the game and post it, will people bombard me with outraged e-mails, or is this more of an open-minded crowd which will try the game? Please let me know, as I don't want to spend time creating a game that no one will play. Thanks

Didn't you post this a few days ago in the review section of someone's game?

Yep. I was going to mention it to you guys in here if no one brought it up but apparently, he's found his way to the forums to post questions.

probably you should avoid the gay / lesbian alternatives.

Thanks for the feedback....And yes, I posted it in a review the other day, but the forum administrator e-mailed me to post in in here. Also, to the person who posted that I should avoid gay and les. alt., I just wanted to hear your opinion on that. I am not gay myself, but I just thought it would be nice for any gay ppl playing the game. Thanks

Though myself i wouldnt play it I just want to bring up the fact that this isnt all one game its a program that allows you to create your own text based games. I just though I say that because I saw you post

I just thought it would be nice for any gay ppl playing the game.

Im very sure you already know this just bring it up if you didnt. ;)

I'd personally like the lesbian part... And I'm sure if I Think I'm Dead would like to have a stab at the gay part he'd like the option there (Got it before you! HA-HA).

I'm pretty sure if there were gay's/bisexuals/lesbians/even straight people of any gender - they'd want to have an 'option'.

... Hmmm just thought of a "group-sex" option - but I just don't see that happening. ;)

So long as it's a proper game with sexual themes and not just your usual run-of-the-mill porno game - i.e. find a girl, shag her, find someone else, shag them - then I'd play it. Providing there's no gay sex in it. I'm quite happy to tolerate the gay community but have no desire to be a part of it.

Oh no David - I feel the same way. I'd rather not be forced into that sort of thing!
An option, as he described above, will quite suffice. :D

I totally agree there. I prefer to read erotic articles and stories rather than watching it. But the writer has to be good.

I can see how that would pose a problem... Ehhhh...
Just hope you dont fall a sleep doing it. Your wife/mom might come in then you end up with two kinds of results.

1(Your wife dumbs you and tells all her friends that your gay and it slow goes around the hole town until you cant get a date....)

Or...

2(Mom comes in and next thing you know shes trying to hook you up with guys for the next 50/60 years.)

too true - though, my sources suggest that if your wife thought that you were gay and told all your friends, who in turn told all the females that you were gay, you'd probably get a whole lot more interest from women. Probably not the best way of getting a date though....

about the game; interesting idea, though I'm not sure how you thought up the idea of a straight/bi/lesbian/gay angel (the later two don't quite fit)

lastly, please don't lock the thread! you can always tell who the mature ppl are from reading the "gay" threads. lol

Personally, I think there should be some type of limit or rating on the material within a game.
Sure, the game(s) that are for adults have the warning but there as simple to access as non-adult games. The ones available in the archive aren't quite that playable but still... let's assume otherwise.
I've played around with the idea before just to see if I could make one but I'd probably never post it on here for the reason I stated above. Gotta watch out for the impressionable minds...

paul_one

Pfffttt, impressionable minds...
You can download more horrific scenes through kazaa and stuff like that... Just search for snuff (I think it's that anyway). Mutilation, rape, ugly stuff like that. Anyone can download it!

You can also download cracked animé/hentai games which allow you to do these things graphically - although half of them are strange and round-about in nature (I've only "tried" 2 myself).

Personally, 'angels' coming down to pursuade 3 people to have sex, and in which you can have different sexual orientations, is quite good. Very much like hentai. If you look into these, you get lesbiens/straight/lesbien AND straight, and sometimes just a straight person with the same gender for a little bit.... Oh, and let's not forget about the masses and MASSES of tentacle stuff out there.

I think Im Dead
07 Dec 2004, 01:01
Not that I play Hentai, but most hentai games involve your character sleeping with atleast a cousin.

I also know that in hardcore roleplaying muds characters, conflicts, and emotes can get quite graphic. I've heard of a mud I believe was called Armageddon or something similar. Takes place in some dark post-apocalyptic type setting, characters regularly are murderous cretins out for there own ends and such. It's not uncommon for female characters to be raped or killed, if only because in that roleplayed scenario men are dominant in a Mad Max type world. I'm sure I've managed to make a game with a million redeemable qualities seem awful, so I suggest you research the game yourself before forming opinions. I merely wanted to add to the defense that many interactive-fiction players, and similarly mud players, prefer a more mature atmosphere and gamestyle.

don't delete them on my account - i just thought it strange that an angel would be gay, concidering the whole 'sin thing'.

in fact i reakon it was a good idea to include them.... - but that would be just me, i guess.

Actually, I didn't dump the options because of anyone. I just decided that it wasn't worth it. (Too time consuming.) Anyway, I actually posted a short demo, because I didn't see the notice that said "No Demos" until after. It didn't get posted anyway. (As the notice said it wouldn't.) But I saw that it said that the game would be checked to see if it was full length, and appropriate. I e-mailed Alex to find out what that meant, but I didn't get any response. Maybe I sent it to the wrong address. What I want to know is, what does "check for appropriate" mean? Does it mean appropriate, as in without bugs and things, or appropriate as in not "adult," as mine is. Because I saw that there are adult games posted, unless that was before a new "No adult games" rule. Anyway, please let me know, because I don't want to continue programming an unuseable game. (Which is taking me quite a while-I'm not even halfway done yet.) Thanks---Ebayfan414
