Is there a way to change between Gamebook and text adventures?

23 Mar 2022, 15:36I am reaching a point in my story for my text adventure that I feel like would work better as a gamebook rather than as a text adventure where you input your own responses. Like how early on in the game you can type in "Ask Sam about _" ? I would rather have it now be where the character has a conversation where they have options to choose from and events that occur based around their choices.
I honestly have no idea if this question makes any sense, sorry!

If you mean gameplay wise... it is up to you how many options you give to the player.
I have a feeling I did not answer your question, but it is not clear what are you looking for.
