there are a few bugs when you use QDK, for example, i had one before, and the reason for it was that QDK was generating the code...

description <(Carbralos Inn)
|bExits: |xbEast, Down>

and the log was saying...

FATAL ERROR: Expected closing > character in 'description <(Carbralos Inn)'

so what i had to do was either not use QDK and code by hand, or change the QDK room settings so it wasnt Words Only, but Standard Style.

im not so sure what your problem is, but ill have a look now and see if it says anything in the log file.

STE your error isn't because of anything QDK does by default but because you are retarded and can't use a simple application correctly. You bring nothing to a conversation but your craving for a high posts number.

Otherwise, QDK often generates errors similar to the one you received for a lot of things and in general isn't TOO stable. It will often give errors out if you have too many of layers to your code or if some syntax is entered wrong. Also QDK sometimes writes code in a different, but still acceptable, way than most people would write their ASL. Generally the best solution is to look over anything you recently added to the code, try deleting that and then see if what you are doing works. ASL can be quite picky, the QDK can be even worse. It is recommended you read the help file extensively and learn ASL as it is quite easy. QDK realistically is best used for bug checking your work or figuring out a piece of syntax.

I got this too. So far to prevent it to crash don't click on the arrow on the right of the selection, click on the field and use the arrow on the keyboard to select rooms. It should work (until the bug is corrected :) ).

ITIB/ITAL or wotever u wanna call yourself. I think anybody on this forum will back me up on this one, and agree with me that my post was sensible. yours on the other hand, was just useless and pathetic. i dont know WHY you hold a grudge against me, nor do i even care, but cant these discussions go on somewhere else apart from alex's forums? i think you're screwed up in your head and need some serious medical attention. Grow Up

Also... high post number? whats that gotta do with ANYTHING? LMFAO, this isnt nightmist you know, we dont judge people by their post count.

Alex, before the owner of nightmist took of post counts, mostly every single post was about somebody flaming somebody else for posting crap just to get a high post count, its pathetic, it really is. But ITIB is a typical nightmist forum user, constantly flaming people for no reason. just stay at nightmist, and dont post here if you're gunna cause trouble

I think Im Dead
