Under which terms games from this web site available?
E.g. I want to remake a game changing the story line, put it on my site, charge for playing the game, etc.

As far as I know, the Quest game engine itself allows you to create games for whatever purpose you wish, personal, commercial or otherwise.

Games published on the site, however, would fall under individual copyright. If you want to remake a game that's been done by a game author, you'd have to get the rights to do so from them.

It's a bit hard. I've reviewed several games sources and found no license info. At most they contain author name without any means to contact them.

If you have specific authors you'd like to contact, if you ask Alex (the site admin), he may be able to put you in touch. You could also try adding a comment to the game listing stating your interest, since I think that should ping the author.

When uploading a game file you can read following sentence:

In return, Text Adventures Ltd promises:
- you keep all the copyright in the game
