If downloading it, and attempting to install it a second time does NOT work, then run the installation as an administrator.
(In case you don't know how, right click the installation wizard, and press "Run as Administrator".) Good luck.

06 Jul 2013, 21:38Try doing a google search for "error reading setup initialization file". There are a number of pages where people have had this problem with InstallShield installers.
Some thoughts:
1) Administrative rights (as mentioned)
2) Anti-virus software kicking in
3) A virus kicking in!
4) File did not download properly
5) Try changing browsers (In one case, it failed for the user using Chrome but worked with IE - http://www.sinsoftheprophets.com/forums ... tion-file/)

Be sure to completely delete the downloaded file before trying again. Also, if you're trying to run the file directly from the web site, try downloading it (Save As) first to a known good location and running it from there. I had an odd problem the other day trying to run something directly off the internet. Downloading it separately worked.
And be sure to disable any AV software.
