Online Timer Issues?

13 Jun 2013, 13:43Is anyone aware of this but playing games online with Timers causes headaches.
My latest game 'The Legend of Robin Hood' had 3 timers (well 5 timers - 3 of them were looped after each other) and when you played it (ie typed in a command or moving in a direction) it would skip the response and not print it at all (only randomly).
Anyway, I removed all my timers which I didn't mind (turnscripts seem to be OK) and now it works fine. It's just a bit annoying that's all and wondering if anyone knows the cause of it as I am using a new computer with Windows 8?

13 Jun 2013, 15:29There are known issues around timers when playing online - they most often happen if you have short duration timers firing every second or so, but I've seen a few other odd effects too. It is quite high up the list of things I need to fix!
