I am not completely computer illiterate as my question may suggest...But here i go anyway...(Helmet on)
Would it be possible for someone to "create" a very simple "game file"or screenshots for a very small game....(Yes I have read tutorial but missing something somewhere)
The game
Two rooms...
First room...Locked door....Box...
Open box to find key...Key not visible until box is opened
Box is empty after you take key
Unlock door with key
Enter...say Kitchen
Table (tea cup on table ...)
(X cup....Empty)
Chairs (can't drink tea til seated)
Stove (tea kettle brewing)
Take kettle...fill cup
Sit...
drink tea...
DONE....

That would be a big help getting me started

I'm a little confused by your phrasing, "would it be possible."
Are you basically saying you'd like to look at a finished game file, for a small game?
If that's the case I wouldn't be surprised if someone already has one they could offer up.

Actually, this makes me think it might be good to actually include a finished version of the tutorial game for people to look at.

YUP....Could someone post a completed game..that I could look at in Quest and edit...just to play with....
If someone could point me to a prior post that has "basically" what I need it would be great..

Okay, I whipped something simple and sent it to your email as listed here on the forums.
It may have a little more than what you're expecting, but somethings are a little tricky for me.
For instance, the "locked exit" is represented by a separate door object, which the key can be used on.
Let me know if you have any questions about what I put in there.
Also, there's a bit of a story and theme, but it's all in how the descriptions are written mostly. Enjoy
