Technical Difficulties for other players

So, i finished my first text game with Quest 5.2 just earlier today. I gotta say, lovely program that is easy to learn and just pleasant to use. However, when i presented the game to other players, i received numerous reports of commands not working, such as being unable to go "east" when, not only the compass clearly showing that you could, but the command worked perfectly fine for myself. I was also told that the game hangs up often, especially when users go to different tabs during play. The failed commands appeared to be very irregular, I've double checked the usage of commands before I published the game.

Is there anything I could have changed in setting up the game or are technical difficulties a common thing in general on this website?
A copy of my game's files is attached

I had a very quick look (did not really achieve anything) and it seemed okay (but it does complain about two things called "kill"; you might want to rename your verb - just change the text in the "attribute" box (Alex, this would be better labelled "name"!)).

I down-loaded it and was using 5.3. Do you have it uploaded? Give us a link we could look at that too.

Can you get your friends to say what they had been doing before it crashed?

I asked and here is some feedback from other players.
#1
I was messing around in the kitchen when the game hung and suddenly it would reject all my commands
Whenever I tried to use the buttons it would say "a menu is already open" or something like that
I have no idea what exactly I did to break everything, but refreshing to start over fixed it and it never happened again

I had a similar problem after turning off the light and closing the curtains. The game wouldn't respond to any command. I also refreshed and didn't have any problem afterwards.

Other than that, very fun game, man.

A constant would seem that refreshing the page solves the problem
