Hello everyone hope all is ok . I was working on my game earlier on today and everything was working fine when I checked the latest work, so I decided to give it a rest and come back to it later. I left it running on the table as usual, but when I came back and decided to look at it again it would not run and greyed over, with a message (quest has stopped running) so the only way to start it up again was to double click it on the desk top. It loaded up the game but it would not run again. I've worked on it now for nearly a year so you can imagine my panic. Lucky enough I've got two backups on different sticks. So I deleted the game off the computer and installed the backup. To my delight it worked. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks Terry :D :D :D :D

Quest can end up hogging a fair amount of memory if you leave it running for long periods of time. It's much better than it used to be, but I find to be on the safe side I always close Quest if I'm going to stop using it for the time being. And make sure to save often.

Sounds like the program crashed alright. Best advice is safe often and make backups.

yeah I agree with that, it's that every time i've played it lately it's been telling me quest is not responding but then kicks itself into gear and plays. But this is the first time it just would not play it. I even restored the computer back two days hoping that that might have helped. Oh well it's a good job I had some backups. Hello to both of you and thanks for replying, Terry. :D :D :D :D
