timing in walkthroughs

HI all hope all is ok with all of you. Just a question hopefully an easy one. I have placed timers within some locations just to make it a little more realistic eg(look in drawer) wait 2 seconds then reply I Have found an object. How can I relate that to the walkthrough. For without a delay it throws every other command out. Hope I`ve made myself clear. Thanks Terry :D :D :D :D
