Trying to play a game but every 5 seconds there is this bug or something where the text just keeps repeating over and over again no matter what I do, for example: If I am in the main hallway of an area and then move left it will repeat that im in the main hallway even though ive just moved, and if I check an item it will just repeat that im in the main hallway. This has happened in several games that I have played, not just the one I am playing now. How do I fix this because honestly its quite annoying

Can you show a screenshot, to help us get a better idea what you mean? Maybe a link to a game that's exhibiting the problem?

If it's happening across many games, it could be worth asking what your configuration is. If you're playing online it could be a browser issue; offline it could be a problem with a particular version of Quest. Or your windows version.

You posted the same topic twice; I'm wondering if that's related. A cheap mouse can generate two clicks when you press the button once, so you post a message twice, or get the same response from Quest twice.

Just wild guesses so far; but that's the first thing that comes to mind.

Oh, I didnt know I posted twice. I could send screenshots but it wouldnt really help, I can describe it better though: It doesnt really repeat the text, it just doesnt show up any more, like, no other text will show up as if it hit a text limit or whatever

what game? a game you created or someone else's game? Or, multiple games (yours, someone else's, another someone else's, etc etc etc games) ???

if it's just your game that's not working, then it's just your game that's got bad coding that we can fix for you

if it's just someone else's game that's not working, then they got bad coding that we need to fix for them

if it's multiple games... then something isn't compatible between your computer (and/or browser if doing online) and quest, and/or whatever the cause of it, not working for you (more technical issue of figuring out why it's not working for you, compared to just bad coding within the game)

If you're playing online, what happens if you try to type a command?

If you press enter and the command stays in the text area, it likely means your browser is waiting for a response from the server. Could be that the server is overloaded by the number of people playing, and will start working again if you wait a minute or two; or could be that your net connection was interrupted while it was waiting for a response (even if you lose your connection for a couple of seconds at a time, your browser could end up waiting for the server to respond to a message that didn't get through).

One of the reasons that downloading games and playing them locally is always the best choice...
Unless you are not running Windows... Then you have an excuse... (maybe)

... maybe Pixie's most recent quest version... doesn't work with older games....

has Manowar's server(s)' quest software been updated and to recent version and/or compatible? (can you play the games online? if so, then the game isn't the issue, it's something with your computer, browser, and/or quest)

also, you may need to download the 'MS .net' stuff, as this is needed (used by quest/servers), if yours isn't updated to recent version. This has fixed some users issues in the past.

also... if you still using 'XP'... quest isn't compatible with it anymore...
