Merging the web and desktop player UIs

20 May 2012, 13:46The latest "nightly" build at http://quest.codeplex.com/releases/view/77770 replaces the desktop player UI so it uses the same interface as the web player.
Not only does this look quite a lot nicer (in my opinion) but it will also make it much easier to add functionality for customising the UI, as it will now only need to be done once to work on both desktop and web.
Also, as most games are now played online, it means when developing locally you will see exactly the same thing as every player, whether they play online or offline.
There are still a few things on my list to fix (it is a nightly build after all) but let me know what you think.

This is a huge step towards the level of UI customization that I've been craving since I started working with Quest.
