games.dat file

What is the purpose of the games.dat file in the games subfolder of Quest. I thought it might be the log file of favourites when executing the Quest runner. I've added a game and after reading the games.dat file with notepad the game has not been appended. Can the games folder be deleted in the main Quest folder along with the dat file, or will this cause problems?

It's used to populate the Favourites list when you first install Quest, if you select the option to install the games. After you've run Quest for the first time, it can safely be deleted. You can delete the games as well if you like.

The Favourites list is stored in the registry, in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Quest\Games

Thanks Alex. I just wanted to move all my games to a User folder and wondered about the dat file, whether it needed to be put in my new folder. Many thanks for your help. :)
