Sandpit games

25 May 2011, 19:03I noticed there's no sandpit category in Quest 5. Am I just too dumb to see it? Why isn't it there? I like sandpits...

25 May 2011, 19:25That was intentional... if there are any "good" games in the Sandpit, they should probably be recategorised as something else.
But I'm willing to reconsider - there are quite a lot of Sandpit games though so they may not be easy to browse within Quest's game browser.

26 May 2011, 10:05That would be a bit harsh I think. One thing I'll probably do though is add the ability to make games private, i.e. they won't appear in the listings on the front page or categories, but you could still test that your game works online, and send links to it to your friends.

27 May 2011, 12:13Okay, I understand. There are a lot of awful ones indeed. I just like trying them and coming up with suggestions to improve them. I'll just do that via the website. There are good sandpit games though, and it would be a shame not to put those in the system.
Btw: I like your idea of private games a lot! Friends of mine don't want to download Quest, but I don't really want to put a game full of bugs out there.
