22 May 2011, 07:39Is it possible to make a timer with a fraction of a second? From what I've tried I don't think it is but, I wanted to be sure. Like if i wanted it to be 3.5 seconds or .5 seconds or .2 seconds.
Also a little trouble i'm having with timers is they dely if i'm changing rooms slightly fast.

22 May 2011, 16:47I don't recommend using timers if you want high accuracy. I'm not sure why you'd want this anyway, in a text adventure game?

22 May 2011, 17:17my text adventure game has pictures. I want it for a quicker screen flip on a certain part. I'm just trying to get the most out of the program. So basically it's not the accuracy, I just wanted a quicker second. You said you didn't recommend using timers for high accuracy. Did you mean there was something else to use? And the reason there is a problem with the timers stalling while flipping through rooms, is that someone can just run through this area real fast and avoid timers. And I guess my game isn't really a text adventure but, it's what i'm using the program for.

25 Aug 2011, 15:11I have the latest Quest 4, and I have one major problem: When I go to find the tree menu, I assume they mean the one at the left of the screen. When I go to make a timer or menu, I can't find them anywhere in the whole editor. Where should I look to find the tree menu that holds these? I checked the "Script" tree menu. It has timer, but doesn't give me the option to make one, just edit its traits. What do I do?
