Will Quest 5 be able to save as a z-code file type? If it is, :D
If it isn't, can you try to add an option in the to save as (or export as) a z-code (.z#) file?

Wow, that's quite a big feature request!

I have no plans to do this as it would involve writing a compiler, which would be a huge undertaking. If somebody else wants to do this then I'd be delighted - I'd happily make it part of the main Quest product. But as it is I have neither the time nor the skills to do this myself!

Something else that should be mentioned is that many languages and users are gravitating from Z-Machine to Plotkin's Glulx virtual machine.

Rather than target Zcode or Glulx directly, generate Inform 6 code and pass it to Inform.
