so I was wondering what the upload size restrictions are on textadventures.co.uk. if there are any. Just curious because I recently tried uploading a version of RotSM and it didn't seem to be working at all.

I know it says:
"When you click the "Upload" button below, please leave your browser to upload the file, even if doesn't seem to be doing anything. You will see a confirmation message when your file has been successfully uploaded."

Even with that being said though it seems to not be loading at all. I think it might be due to the size of the upload because of my resource files (music and pictures). Once I removed them from the zip folder and uploaded only the games asl file it worked fine.

I don't know off the top of my head if there is a restriction, but basic HTTP uploads can be problematic with large files. I probably should implement a more modern file uploader which will give some feedback, because a normal file upload doesn't give you any indication that it's doing anything.

As a workaround I can manually add large games for you if you submit them via some other means.

That they can. That would be pretty cool if you did and would come in quite handy. Always helps to actually see if anythings happening or not. Moving on though, you say you could possibly add it if I submit it via other means..? Would you be able to add it if I uploaded it to mediafire and sent you the download link via e-mail?

Thanks Alex, I just sent the e-mail with the link to the zip file containing the games asl file and resource files. Also I included the walk-through so you could see about fixing the "play online" feature with my game.
