05 Dec 2003, 22:12Just an idea but maybe it would be a good idea if there was an instant messenger as well as this developer forum, good idea???

05 Dec 2003, 22:16I already asked this. I asked if it was possible that Alex get a chatroom or something similar.

05 Dec 2003, 22:21Wat did he say about it - when do you think it could be up and running???

05 Dec 2003, 22:24It would be simple. Alex never answered me. I'm sure he can find a free one easily, though.

05 Dec 2003, 22:59a chat room isnt needed, incase you havent noticed, it's not really a large community

05 Dec 2003, 23:01Chat rooms are better with larger communities. Most times I'm logged onto the forum I'm the only one on there. I imagine the chat would be pretty much the same and it's not my idea of a fun time logging in then sitting around for hours waiting for someone else to log in.
Maybe when the Quest community grows over the next few years a chat room would be a good idea.

07 Dec 2003, 01:28Chat room?
Who are you expecting to chat to? Whenever people ARE here its not in groups of 10 - it's more like 2-3 at most... If you want to chat then e-mail or get contact details from us and then go that way.

07 Dec 2003, 16:08If it would appease everybody, I could use this opportunity to test out my hosting(500mb, 5g monthly transfer) and set up a chat program on it. People seem like they'd want something completely browser based, but I may be able to find something with a small client side aspect to it so we can all just sit afk in the room and conversation can spark when 1 or more people has time and is up to it.
Eh, I'll look around, but I'm back on dial up("AOL 9.0 OPTIMIZED!" <--BLOW ME) so the looking will be slow.
