Adjoining Rooms

When creating an exit from a room an option is provided to enable movement back from the adjoining room by checking a box. Why aren't the settings remembered. I've lost count of how many times I've had to uncheck the box because it has altered and allowed movement back to a room I didn't want. Is there a way of 'locking' the setting? :(

This looks like a bug - once the exit has been created, if you turned off the "Create corresponding exit" option, it shouldn't be turning it back on again.

I'll take a look and fix this for v4.1.5.

I can only be sure it happens when re-opening the exits dialogue, but quite often it is required to open it again when adding more exits. Thanks for having a look.

Hey,
I've been having this problem as well, but I've dismissed it until now. They only way I've found to make one way exits seem to remain as their supposed to is if you make sure to uncheck all the boxes and then package the game into a .exe using the packager included with Quest. Alternatively, you could "lock" the exit going back.

Ex.
Room 1 Exits East
Room 2 Exit West <- back to room 1 *Click on the exits tab, and lock the West exit*

That way the player wouldn't be able to go back.

Still, thanks Alex for having a look into this! It will be much less of a headache once it's resolved.
