Is it a different product? What is the price going to be? When can you purchase it?

It's kind of a different product, but it's based on a lot of the same code, so the ASL is pretty similar. Anything new in Quest is usually automatically available for QuestNet. It will be sold separately when it's released, but I haven't decided on any pricing yet.

DOH! dont charge for it! lol. But if you do, dont make it so the free version has very little options and only allows 10 people to play. 30 people for the free version, 50 for 1 price, 100 for another price, and unlimited.

i guess you could use the old......

Free | Basic | Premier | Elite

most likely i'll end up paying for it, but dont make it too expensive, it's only a server client, and without it, i cant really do much with the client me and TNO are making.

I agree. I mean, Sh4d0w Pr0j3kt is going to be a huge multiplayer game. I'll host it 24/7 in a year or so when I get ADSL (i have dialup now) or until I find a willing host. The game may be so large that most people will not download it. I'm debating whether I should even enter the competition because that is wasting my time on single-player. I think I have a very good chance, though, which is why I'm debating. But at least allow unlimited in some form. I know I'll purchase that eventually.

if its multiplayer nobody has to download anything, unless of course you're adding music, that wont be too hard to download.

I know. That's what I said. I need multiplayer because the game will be too large to download.

nothing is too large to download. i've downloaded games at 100mb (not Quest Games). i cant see your game being any bigger than 10mb, if even that.

Oh, if you have even crappy internet then it's not a problem. I have the slowest dialup I have ever seen and I'm sure other people have dialup. I wasn't refering to everyone

Yeah - I have a slow dial-up (33k right now) so downloading anything is a real bitch.

Music/pictures should be extra's - not compulsery.

music sets the mood for the game, and sounds are just funny :P

I used to have a 14 K modem - my old Atari used to use it... Don't any more though.

Why do you have a 26K modem? Or is it just you've got a crappy phone connection and it runs at 26k?

The latter. I live in the middle of nowhere and that is all that's offered.
