creating a command-interface like in a point&click?

hi folks..

again i have two questions..
i allready saw the option "panes off", but..

can i get rid just off the compass but still use the inventory window?

is it possible to insert a window (just like the inventory-window) creating an interface with my personal basic commands (like in a click & point adventure: look, talk to, push, pull,...) that the player can combine then with objects from the inventory or objects seen in the room?

and another question not exactly related to that, but still important: is it possible to change the marking in the compass? so far if you move the mouse-courser over it it sais "north", "south" etc, but it´d make much more sense if it said "living room", "dining room" etc. (=the rooms the direction lead to)
and as well if it would be possible not only to say "go north" but "go to living room"..

anybody ever had the same ideas or problems? any experiences?
looking forward to your help,
o.

So far as I can tell there is no way to alter the panes in any way. They are either on or off. I wanted to do that for my wizard game but couldn't. I would like to see something along those lines as well. I think i'm gonna post something on the suggested features thread.
