QuestNet Server 4.0x

06 Mar 2009, 18:41QuestNet Server has been around for quite a while now, and it's never really taken off in the way I might have hoped.
I'll continue to fix bugs in QuestNet Server, but I'm not planning any active development.
This isn't really any different to the situation as it currently stands - there haven't really been any major upgrades to QuestNet Server since version 3.5 (although the 4.0 release brought along everything that was in Quest 4.0, but didn't add any new functionality for QuestNet specifically).
So, there won't be a QuestNet Server 4.1. Instead, Quest 4.1 will ship with QuestNet Server 4.05, which will be a bug-fix release (fixing the broken "disconnect" command).

Alex, I'd like to know if you have any concept doc on Questnet (ie, how it works with the users etc).. How it's different from Quest.
Might be interesting to read.
