Uploading games

Am I correct in saying that there are games hosted by this website which were made using QDK lite?
If so, how do you upload them? Because you need pro to export the CAS file right?
I just finished a game with QDK Lite and I need to host it somewhere... anywhere. How do I do this?

... I don't even need to host it online. It's an assignment for school, I just need to get it to my prof. either by giving her a website link or by giving her a CD.
Thanks.

you can use a free webhost like tripod.com then upload the game to it via
the file manager, or you can look for a free file sharing service, type something like: "free file sharing" in your browsers search.

or if your prof allows it, you can email it to him/her.

Goodluck.

You can upload an ASL file from QDK Lite to textadventures.co.uk - it doesn't have to be CAS.

If it's a private thing though it would be easier to attach it to an email.

but if i just emailed it to her, would she have to download quest to play it?

Also, supposedly I can upload an asl file? But it doesn't show up except when I try to open it with quest. I look in the folder its contained in in windows explorer and the asl files don't show up, same thing when I try and upload them to textadventures.co.uk.

Far as I know yes your prof will need quest player to play it, It's free.

Try searching for the name of your game on your computer by going to the computers search bar.

Lady_Jane,
Very sadly, both the free and the pro versions cannot be played without going to the website and downloading Quest. If I had to find a negative thing about Quest, it would be that. :(

I agree, that's the only bad thing I can think of about quest to.
