17 Jan 2007, 19:06I'm probably missing something really basic here, but when I try to run a test game I've written I'm told I can't because I haven't set a start room. To set this, I need to go Game Properties which is available by the Game menu then Properties. Only there isn't a Properties option listed under Game menu.

17 Jan 2007, 20:06Well spotted - some wording that needs to be updated.
Anyway, you can set the start room by clicking Game on the tree menu and then choosing a room from the "Players start in this room" list.

17 Jan 2007, 23:05Is UNDO covered in this version? I seem to remember a post indicating it was but it wouldn't work for me.
Alex
17 Jan 2007, 23:20Not yet, though it is on the (colossal) "to do" list for a future version.

18 Jan 2007, 02:41Thanks for the implementation of the switch-case feature. It was something I was hoping would be available soon.

22 Jan 2007, 20:26Lol. I've downloaded it but not installed, won't be until HavenHold is up to beta release, keep it all developed in the same versoin in case of confusions with the new one. Can you still get the old versions, just asking.

22 Jan 2007, 20:32someone will have an old installation file, I'm sure of that.

22 Jan 2007, 20:37I've kept my old ones, Im forever re-installing them..... lol. I'm always on a different computer and keeping the installer with you is helpful lol.

23 Jan 2007, 10:41I've got 3.5 downloaded.. And I think I may be able to get 2.7 from a CD (if I still have it... or 2.-whatever it was).

23 Jan 2007, 20:26I still have a copy of 1.x and 2.x sitting around, as well as 3.5 Pro and the 4.0 beta 3. I noticed that my first game, which was absolutely atrocious (earthquake) no longer functions properly, and for some reason the copy in the games archive isn't the one I uploaded. It seems to be missing a file.

24 Jan 2007, 09:12Ouch, version 1 you say? Wasn't that back when objects and people where split. Cool. I came around in 3.something, but I've seen the code of the old games and pictures of the old layout. Quest's come a long way from where it started... Good work, Alex!

24 Jan 2007, 16:14I'd have said it made more sense to keep objects and people split as they're completely different things.
