Room bug in QDK
GameBoy
14 Dec 2006, 00:51I make a room called 'RoomName' with all the other fields containing text. When I save the game strait away (Without anything else changed from the moment i launched QDK), it tells me I already have a room named RoomName.
I change the room to 'RoomName sdfsdf', and when I try to save the game again, it crashes.
It also didn't save any of the other fields.
But when I loaded up QDK again, and loaded the ASL file, re-entered the data, and it worked.

14 Dec 2006, 15:46I filled in all of the fields in the room details, with this data (In order)
RoomName
RoomAlias
Prefix
Desc
DescPrefix
then I just clicked Save. It told me there was already a room called RoomName, and that I hadn't defined a starting room.
When I looked into the ASL file, only the name of the room was saved, and nothing else.

17 Dec 2006, 06:44Had the same problem. Uninstalled all copies of Quest, re-downloaded beta 2 and re-installed. Now it works.
