Alex had asked for tests on both a java/flash and telnet adaptor for Quest. Are these, or will these be made available at some point? Also, is there some sort of SDK available for writing our own adapter?

The Telnet adaptor is already available, and it's included in the Quest and QuestNet Server setup - look for adaptor.exe in \Program Files\Quest.

I hope to release the web version of the adaptor as part of Quest 4.0, or maybe slightly afterwards. You'll be able to customise the front-end by simply editing the HTML.

You could write your own adaptor or client if you know how to use sockets. The protocol is fairly simple - let me know if you'd like more details.

I can't wait for the web version. It'd be like running a mud server similar to Achaea. Being able to customize the HTML to present your own look to the page would be fantastic. Definately a big step for Quest.

Woot! I can't wait either, this'll be great for getting quest's name out as having to download a cleint to jsut paly a game can annoy some people and web based rpgs are good (thinking of havenhold there).
