QuestNet Server Beta 2 is pretty much complete and will be released at the same time as Quest 3.5 Beta. All that needs to be finished is the QDK support for QuestNet games (very nearly done) and adding the relevant stuff to the documentation so you know how to use it. If things progress quickly I might be able to release it this weekend (although as always I'm not promising anything :) )

oooo good good.... and the BETA will be completely free right? and we wont have to update the BETA if we dont need too, because i cant pay for it yet, because ill need some time to learn ASL again (lol, i forgot how to do most of it, its been a while), and ill need to learn EXTRA stuff, so i can code not only ASL, but QNL too (ive decided to name the extra code needed for QuestNet, QNL, which stands for QuestNet Language, as it only works in questnet :). its kinda like Javascript in HTML, you put QNL in ASL). THEN i can start making a decent game, and with the game i make, it might draw people to start using Quest, as alot of people dont know VB/C++, and they are all so desperate to make an online MuD, and Quest is the only way to do it. So good luck with that Alex, i cant wait, i really cant, not any longer, ive been waiting for months now lol!

The limitations at the moment is one reason ive stopped using Quest, but when QuestNet is released, we can do more stuff, which will be really cool. and i have a job now, so paying for it after ive messed about with it wont be hard AT all.

Why don't you use QDK while you are learning and than get back to hand coding files once you've learnt what you need to know?
