Hi guys, I want to first apologize for the way I phrase things, as I don't really know the terminology all too well. However, as I've been playing these games I've come to realize I drastically prefer the ones where you have to type in what you want to do, not just choose one of the choices on screen. So my question is, is there any way to filter for just that?

Most of the parser interface games on this site are made with Quest or Inform. I don't know a good way to search this site. However, ifdb.org provides very precise search options.

I think, most of the games here do offer the "enter the text" input...
I started off in a time when the best adventure games were text only.
