how can i find out my ip address? This is probably really easy but i just don't know.
i need it for my quest server,so people can get to the game remotely.

Go to Ask Jeeves and type in "What's my IP?"

Simple as that.

lol

There is no special server or code that tells you your IP, just a tiny bit of SHTML on a web page.

just using that ive found out my ip is different rom yesterday.how am i going to host games if my ip changes everyday?!

If you're using windows you can type "ipconfig" in the command prompt.

there might be a free service that allows you to register a static IP"one that never changes", do a search for such a service :)

What does hosting games have to do with your IP changing? You can still set up a website whether your IP changes or not.

Yes but you cant host Quest Online Games to well if your IP Addy changes everytime you log onto the Internet.

Quote from the help file:

Here are a few websites where you can sign up for a static DNS name:

DynDns.org
DNS2Go
HN.org
DHS
No-IP.com
CJB.net
