I was taking a look down page 4 and stuff and I saw that alex didnt know how to bring over the post count :P Its something that can be done but its not to much fun just need phpmyadmin and then you go in to the file that says errm i think it was phpbb_users then you click browse and you put it in under the post count though this doesnt help you now :P phpmyadmin is something to hold onto just to have you can edit the usernames post counts and lots more anything and everything pretty much but just though why not add one more topic theres only 4 pages :P

Didnt take me long to find the link :P

He pobably has an account with phpmyadmin with the server.
Anyway, the old forums were file-based, so are harder to move across. Doesn't really matter anyway.

(on a side note - are the old forums still accessable somewhere for archive purposes?)

They are somehow. I used to give them a look over not too long ago but can't remember it now. You couldn't post, but could still read. I liked those ultimateBB or whatever it was.

Reminds me of the irks of working with perl, remote CGI configuration was always tiresome.
