Quest Newsletter

Whatever happen to the Quest Newsletter? I thought it was pretty interesting and they offer lots of tips for creating adventure games, etc...

We were just waiting for you to post a message since you joined in Sept 2003. And now you have. Newsletter coming right up.

What?

My hope for the newsletter was that I'd *AHEM* receive some content for it not just by me...

So please feel free to submit things!

So then we can submit things like cool scripts we might come up with? where to?

Just send them via email to the usual address...

and before you even ask... alex@axeuk.com

I know his email address, I just wondered if he had a seperate one for these submissions. If he now starts to get quite a few submissions a week, he might want to consider this

Well, without a very active community making tons of games, new updates being added EVERY DAY, and new games being released all the time, what could possibly go into a news letter, apart from weekly updates, which you will see when you download new versions of quest anyway?

Considering there are probably less than a dozen people who actively post on the forum (and two of them are the same person under different names), I'd say the community is far too small to support a newsletter.

HAHA!! that was good 8)

Maybe we're all the same person under different names. Wouldn't it be strange if we were all secretly Codingmasters and didn't even know it?

You just blew your own mind.

So what qualifies as something that could go in the newsletter? Got archives of the old ones you could host as example? I think I remember something about that.

yeah, there are archives, but there were only two messages ever sent out before it became dormant.

Maybe we're all Philip K Dick and the outside world is not real ?
