17 Dec 2003, 22:55I'm currently coding a huge application. One of these sections requires to check whether or not a form is open. I've tried searching the MSDN Online Code reference, but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone know how to check whether or not a form is open?

18 Dec 2003, 08:23Just have it so that when you open the form have the .tag set to "OPEN" and when you close the form, set the .tag to "CLOSED". Then check what the .tag is.

19 Dec 2003, 20:04CW, turns out I don't need to check whether or not to check if a form was open or not, but thanks anyway.

What makes more sense then searching google for source code?
..... that last bit was just showing you how obvious it all should have been.

19 Dec 2003, 21:33CM, SquiggleUK will have lots of sourcecode snippets and guides/tutorials, and even full downloads for whole programs will all the files and stuff you need. Not alot is on there yet, but keep checking back for stuff, it may help in the future. http://www.squiggleuk.com

20 Dec 2003, 00:09Simpsons joke, Homer has invitations to a barbeque printed out. Says something like BYOBB BBBQ, one of the B's meant something extra, the other was just a typo.
paul_one
20 Dec 2003, 08:07"You're invited to the Simpsons' BB-B-Q? .... The extra B is for 'BYOBB'..... "
"What's that extra B for?"
".... That's a typo!"
...... From memory that's the best I can do.

23 Dec 2003, 02:23yes that was a forum where you could post VB problems, and probably have them answered for you, without the post going off topic....
(congrats to me for posting 400 useless, stupid, pathetic, off-topic posts).
