When I tried to reply to a post in another part of this forum (Board Index > Quest Forums > Creating Games > Room Description Bug...), it said:

That does occur occasionally.

If you user firefox hit the back button, copy the text in the window and save it for 30 minutes - then try again.

If you use IE, cry into a tissue and then install firefox.

Okay, I think we can kill this thread - probably just a bandwidth problem. Maybe the server should print something more useful, like "Bandwidth exceeded - try again later" (or just "I give up - go away!")

hmmm.. I didn't think of it being a bandwidth issue - more along the lines of the server being a bit busy and unable to reply to the request in time, or some other minor server issue which needs the http/mysql/whatever service to be restarted.

.. That was *my* take on it, since it seems to happen far and few between to me.
