New House

13 Jul 2007, 12:22Moved into my new house last weekend. Posting from work as I don't have the net at my house yet. It's pretty good, 2 garages so I can store the motorbikes and use one for building them. 3 Bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and living room, bathroom and all that jazz. Even has a nice backyard and a front drive.
Not sure when I'll be getting my net back. Might just buy a wireless card and use somebody elses.

13 Jul 2007, 20:49Ha lolz. Naughty boy. You sure you need three bedrooms and all that? It must be expensive. I'm currently renting with my sister and it's really expensive and she has a proper job and all that.

13 Jul 2007, 20:55I live in a small house with three other sweaty men, ranging in age from 20 to 40ish, and I pay $400 rent a month. You're lucky
Do you have roommates, Ste?

15 Jul 2007, 03:53.. I wish *I* only had to pay that!and I pay $400 rent a month
I think I'll need to start looking for a place of my own, hopefully get out of this hell-hole... But it means having to look into furniture, carpeting (which I can get put in for very cheap prices ), getting to work, bills.. I hardly have enough time to eat as it is.
Elex, Steve's in the North. It's cheaper there (although I think it's starting to 'boom'). Your place is closer to London which will send it higher.

15 Jul 2007, 16:28I pay £600 between me and my house mate. only 2 of us living there. But the £600 is just rent. There's council tax, TV license, gas and electric and all that jazz that needs to be taken into concideration.
I have 2 sources of income at the moment, atleast until the end of the month.

20 Aug 2007, 19:43I pay $660 bucks a month for a two bedroom apartment here in the big city of Houston. There are a lot of palm trees everywhere so at least the view is nice. We have two kids here and they are about to need their own rooms so we are going to have to upgrade to a three bedroom apartment at the first of the year ($990/mo...ouch). Oh..well...graduation is only a couple of years away and then it won't be so tight (yeah right).

22 Aug 2007, 05:45It's a tough lifestyle. If i was still living with my parents right now I'd be able to spare £500 a month. I'm paying over £400 a month right now, and that's only my half of the costs of running this place. Shouldn't have signed that 12 month gym contract to be honest. £40 a month is a lot considering my income right now.

18 Jan 2008, 00:26Update!
Well, I only lasted about 2-3 months in the house, moved back into my parents for a while, then on December 7th I moved into my dads house in Wales.
Stupid decision since it was all for a girl, and now I regret it.
